Thursday, October 17th

Today on The CGP: The government is once again open for business and the debt ceiling has been extended. A few thoughts on that including the frenzy on Rep. Peter King’s Twitter feed. Glen Hase and Kara Odegaard from the Rape and Abuse Crisis Center stop by to discuss teen dating abuse. Also, on New Music Thursday something a little different: From the NDSU School of Music, Zach Pavlicek (junior, clarinet), Cecilia Kang (Assistant Professor of Clarinet) and Matt Patnode (Associate Professor of Saxophone). Cecilia and Matt are coordinators of the NDSU School of Music Single Reed Festival which takes place October 18-19 so we’ll get a little taste of that. The D, as in Daryl Ritchison, joins me for his weekly Weather Jig in the Jet, and The Men of Grilling Addiction (Joe Riley and Matt Charpentier) are in as well.

And don’t forget our regular features Top 5 @ Noon and Late Night Comic Highlights.
